Sometimes the best way of letting go of negative emotions is through art.
THE SEA THE MONKEY AND THE BUTTERFLY
" The Sea, the Monkey, and the Butterfly was first written around 2013 and developed while I was living in Berlin between 2019 and 2020. I worked with a guitarist from Chile and a German industrial techno producer, using Elektron machines to create beats and soundscapes. The guitars went through plugins that sometimes made them sound like an orchestra, which can be heard in the intro. "
The track was later mixed and mastered in London in 2024, completing a process that lasted nearly a decade.
FAMILY
Family was written in 2015 and completed during a transformative trip to Nicaragua in January 2025. Inspired by shamanic ceremonies and healing journeys with plant medicine, the track weaves sounds that echo these profound experiences. It is an ode to global unity—celebrating our shared humanity, cultural richness, and the vision of a new, harmonious Earth.
GOD
" God was written before my move to LA in 2017.
The track explores how God lives through us, and how we are God ourself. Deliberate creators in this Universe and Universes.
I revisited it in London in 2025, mixing and mastering it entirely myself.
The approach with the guitars was unconventional and more industrial, like tapping chords on a metallic object rather than playing as you would usually play a guitar.
The chorus draws from the magical, folkloric song “Row, Row, Your Boat,
gently down the stream,
merrily, merrily, LIFE IS BUT A DREAM.”
I had an epiphany using it in the chorus, realizing that its simple words, long lost in time, already held a kind of alchemy, revealing one of the greatest secrets of life: that life itself is a dream.
SPRING
POSITIVE MONKEYS
2008
Positive Monkeys marked the first true chapter of my journey as a songwriter and performer. I started the project at a very young age, writing all of the songs myself and developing them alongside the best musicians I could work with at the time.
The guitar parts were performed by the frontman of the band E-drunk, whose music videos were being broadcast on MTV Italy around 2008. That period was an important beginning for me, shaping my early experience in writing, recording, and performing original music.
